Gary Grimshaw came out of 1960s Detroit with a rapidograph pen and something to say. He built his career alongside the MC5, Iggy and the Stooges, and the White Panther Party. Making work that was equal parts art and ammunition. Five decades. Hundreds of posters. One of rock's most distinct visual voices.
